It is worth doing, to note the achievements of Sen orji Uzor Kalu, in his years so far of representing Abia North district in the Senate.

In this achievements of good conscience, the people of Abia North must admit to the facts that there’s no need, for a return of the Israelites, back to Egypt as it’s often said.

What started with his words, as he campaigned in the 2019 senatorial elections, can today, be placed on a scale of balance to judge and justify the present state of the district, compared to how it use to be, in the past.

There was no doubt Orji Uzor Kalu, told Abia North people of how he was going to be active in his legislative duties if given the mandate to represent the district, in the Red Chambers. Even as much, Distinguished Orji Kalu said, he would positively affect the standard of living of the people, through his office as a Senator.

Nevertheless, in the build ups of the principal officers of the Nigeria Senate in the Fourth Republic, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, came home with the chief whip of the hallowed chambers.

This early strive became a direction, coupled with his affluence and the desire to reach his people through rural developments, which was rolled out in his “operation open the roads” for rural communities.

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has in this few years, linked the roads in the rural communities of Abia North, into the farms. A step into a new beginning for Abia North district. These roads have not only given relief to residents of this settlements, the roads have also boasted economic activities in recent time. Farm produce can now easily be transported through these routes to the market for consumers.

The students of both the primary and secondary schools in Abia North district, are shouting his name (OUK) because of their feel of the dividends of good representation. Their schools were not just renovated, they were also furnished, having pipe borne water in most of them.

School bags, text books and writing materials were also delivered to the school children, ranging from primaries into their Secondary. That is knowledge security! Such he did, while he was the governor of Abia State, when he gave free education for all, from the primary through their secondary studies.

He had also, in his legislative duties, over 35 Bills sponsored with countless motions moved in the floor of the Senate. These are all in his official briefcase in just his less than four (4) years in office. Who, among the senators, whom had represented Abia North district, has such records?

Could Abia North go back to Egypt? This question is senseless to those with the school of thoughts, of a ‘forward ever’. The eyes of Abia North people are today, opened. The achievements of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in few years in the Senate is enough to say, there are more a senator can do, other than just making laws.

Orji Uzor Kalu, opened the eyes of Abia North people to know and understand what is called Zonal Intervention Project (ZIP). If Orji Uzor Kalu is dubious, he would hide such meaningful projects. What had our past senators done, with our ZIP’s funds?

This is expected to be just the beginning, there are more to encouraging Sen. Orji Kalu, for another four years unopposed, be it in the APC primaries and the general election in 2023 from Abia North.

It is unimaginable what any politicians could use to campaign against Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, that would be sellable to the people. Orji Kalu has his score card on a more positive notes. He deserves even more than an unopposed victory in the primaries and the 2023 elections. He’s a leader with the heart beat of the people. He’s indeed a leader, every districts pray to have, to represent them.

Abia North senatorial district is proud to have a leader like Orji Uzor Kalu, as a rally point. We owe him our utmost supports to better deliver more dividends of democracy to the betterments of Abia North.
