BREAKING: “ANONYMOUS” HIJACKS FACEBOOK SERVER IN RANSOMWARE ATTACK, DEMANDS $48BILLION

4:47pm in the evening of Monday the 4th of October, 2021 the Facebook platform experienced a global shutdown of it services across all media platform. The shutdown saw sister platforms like WhatsApp , Instagram,Messenger and Oculus VR all belonging to Facebook Inc, shutdown.

Investigation has showed that the global outage is as a result of a Ransomware hacker attack on the Facebook servers. It was gathered that the attack saw the integrity of the servers comprised and security breeched. Reports coming from the Facebook facility in California shows that Facebook is working frantically to regain access to their servers.

The hacker or group of hackers simply identified as “Anonymous” has claimed responsibility for the attack while demanding the sum of $48 Billion Ransome to restore platform.

However in a tweet from there official Twitter account Facebook wrote:

“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
