Wanted serial blackmailer reportedly arrested by Interpol

Wanted serial blackmailer, Emeh Nnamdi, has been reportedly arrested by the International Police.

Emeh, a member of the National Youths Service Corps, was declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force for impersonation and defamation of character.

Nnamdi was arrested during a joint operation by INTERPOL operatives of Benin Republic and Nigeria on Friday, March 3, 2023.

Recall that the 26-year-old corps member was declared wanted on February 20, 2023, by the Anambra State Police Command on the offence of unlawful possession of a firearm, money laundering, defamation of character, fraud, and impersonation.

He was also wanted in connection with allegations that top police officers in the state Police Command were involved in kidnapping, killing of suspects and human organ harvesting after extorting them.

Nnamdi is said to be an IT expert serving as a tracker in the Anambra State Police Command.

The suspect according to media report is currently in police custody in Abuja.
