Troops neutralize scores of ISWAP terrorists in Yobe, lose CJTF member in Borno

Nigerian Military Artillary have bombed convergence of ISWAP terrorists and killed many fighters in Yobe State.
It was gathered that the insurgents had converged at a location given as Wulle with motorcycles and vehicles with the intention to carry out attack on the nearest troops formation.
Zagazola reports that acting on the intelligence, the troops of 27 Task Force Battalion fired several artillary at the terrorists which resulted in the killing of unspecified numbers of them.
The terrorists later returned on six motorcycles and one vehicle to evacuate their corpses.
Meanwhile, a member of the Civilian Joint Task(CJTF) waa killed while four others injured in a midnight raid by ISWAP in Benishaik , a village in Kaga local government of Borno State.
Benisheikh is located about 72 km and 44.8 miles to the restive Maiduguri capital.
It was gathered that the terrorists sneaked into the town on motorcycles at about 3:30 am, before engaging the security men in a heavy gun battle.
Zagazola reports that the terrorists over powered the security men, killing one of them amd set four patrol vehicles ablaze.
