President Bola Tinubu’s Minister of tourism, Mrs Lola Ade-John, has been reportedly hospitalized in Abuja after suffering from acute poisoning.

The Minister this medium gathered, was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Jabi after she started showing symptoms of poisoning.

Though, sources familiar with her health condition said that she had been at the facility for four days.

It was reported that her worsening condition has caused a disagreement between her family and the government regarding whether or not she should continue receiving treatment at a public hospital or be moved to a better equipped private facility where she will be given adequate treatment.

The permanent secretary of her ministry, Ngozi Onwudike insisted that the Minister should not be transferred because the FMC was a public hospital and its services wouldn’t attract substantial charges to the government.

Her family is said to have rebuffed the position, but they have remained with her at the FMC as they could not raise funds to move her to a private hospital.
