Tinubu may defeat Tinubu at the election petition tribunal — By Akin Malaolu

Bola Tinubu

When a man knows his guilt, he would want another person whether ignorant or not to take his place. That was the exact thing that took place today at the tribunal. Governor Lalong of Plateau State stood up and announced himself as representing Bola Tinubu at the tribunal.

But, in response, he was told in simple language that he Lalong cannot stand for Tinubu at the witness box. The tribunal went further to affirm that the presence of Tinubu is important because he is not a company or corporation. It is very strange that the so announced names of Senior Advocates lined up for this event could have missed the import of this.

Firstly, can Lalong stand in the witness box as Tinubu? Second, can Lalong take the oath on behalf of Tinubu? Third, can Lalong answer questions which are to be directed at the private life and actions of Tinubu? What are therefore the implication if Tinubu refused to mount the witness box and answers to questions put to him on education, perjury and drugs, what will be the implication?

The implication is simple, that Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be pronouncing himself ineligible for the PRESIDENTIAL Election. His results at the polls will be set aside and the swearing-in ceremony may be stalled.

What will happen if Tinubu should mount the witness box? He will take an oath. He must not lie under an OATH ACT.

He will be subjected to answer questions that may make him cry (sweat, run high blood pressure, ask for water again and again, request to sit down if not already so before, ask for oxygen gas-mask, his catheter to be inserted and energy to be boosted).

His responses will be on every Newspaper and other news medium all over the world.

This election case is going to be very interesting and may become the watershed to put things right in our nation.
