Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) has declared political war against all the Igbo delegates that voted against aspirants from Southeastern part of the country in the recently concluded PDP and APC presidential primaries.

The Council, on Monday, 13 June 2022, in Abuja, x-rayed the height of betrayal and sabotage by what it described as “a few microscopic political elements to enslave the present and future generations of Igbo extraction, the Council resolved that Alaigbo is not a habitable for all these enemies of Ndigbo.”

Addressing newsmen shortly after the Council’s meeting, the National President of OYC, Comrd. Igboayaka O. Igboayaka lamented on how Southeast delegates sold the future of their children and unborn generation in the course of the recently concluded primary elections of the leading parties in the country.

The Council, therefore, insisted on what it termed “political and ballot revolution in the South-East region and Nigeria in general, saying “we therefore give PDP and APC delegates in 2022 presidential primaries, apart from 14 PDP delegates from Ebonyi, 38 APC delegates from Ebonyi and one APC delegates vote that came from Imo State by Prof. Chinwe Obaji, others should vacate from Igbo land within 72 hours.”

Speaking amidst bitterness, the Council said:
“It is a clear betrayal and historical sabotage for delegates whom we assigned to go and vote Southeast Aspirants, went to Eagle Square Abuja and sold the future our children. This is a typical breach of trust and they have shown that they can’t be trusted with leadership mandate in Igbo Land.

“As we anticipate political and ballot revolution in Southeast and Nigeria at large, we therefore give PDP and APC delegates in 2022 presidential, apart from 14 PDP delegates from Ebonyi, 38 APC delegates from Ebonyi and One APC delegates vote that came from Imo State voted by Prof. Chinwe Obaji all the others should vacate from Igbo land with 72 hours.

Certainty there will be be “Egwu Surugedee” against Southeast presidential delegates”

“It’s important that Sam Daddy Anyanwu PDP, National Secretary, Emeka Ihedioha, Prof Udenta Udenta, Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Ifeanyi Ararume, Sam Okire, Mrs Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, Hope Uzodinma, Orji Uzor Kalu and other Saboteurs who sold us to Bola Tinubu, Alhmed Lawan and Atiku Abubakar have murdered sleep and will not sleep again.

“Unfortunately, Gov. Hope Uzodinma who used our women as delegates to collect Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) from Chibuike Amaechi, and ended up giving the women three hundred thousand naira (300,000) yet he told the delegates to vote for Ahmed Lawal, this is another height of greed and primitive accumulation of wealth and deliberate betrayal to Ndigbo by Gov Hope Uzodinma and his Cohorts.

“Gov. Hope Uzodinma has demonstrated his ill character over trust, and shows his inward betrayal attribute that forms his personality.

“The betrayal by Gov Hope Uzodinma, Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Ifeanyi Ararume Prof Udenta Udenta, Sam Daddy Nnaemeka Anyanwu, Southeast and Co against Southeast shall be carved down in stone as a memory that will not only hunt them but will hunt their children’s children. Ndigbo will not forget this excruciating political experience, by this political vampires, political cannibals and agents of darkness in Igbo.

“We earnestly pray that God will root them out from Igbo land, as we prepare for new political emancipation from the shackles of political mediocrity and injury they caused us.

“We shall in due time make public the names of the all Delegates Saboteurs and other Stakeholders Saboteurs that betrayed Southeast in 2022 presidential primary election.

“We are watching closely on those set to betray Ndi Igbo come Presidential election 2023

The Council, therefore, enjoined political stakeholders from the region to solidarise with Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for Labour Party to ensure his victory in the forthcoming general election.

“We, therefore, advise Southeast political stakeholders and politicians to immediately key into the presidential project of Mr. Peter Obi, we warn Southeast politicians that any attempt to sabotage Peter Obi presidential election must come with great consequences.”
