Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan says Nigeria cannot afford to have a known drug baron as president in 2023.
Omokri said this while featuring on Arise Television morning show.
The self-styled Buhari tormentor said he busted the lies of Festus Kayemo on Bola Tinubu drug money saga.
Recall that Festus Keyamo the presidential campaign council spokesman of APC during Channels Television interview on Wednesday had exonerated Bola Tinubu of any involvement in drugs trafficking in United States.
While making a case for the former Lagos State governor, Keyamo said he only shared a block of flat with drug barons about 30 years ago in the United States.
Keyamo’s defence was in response to the documents released by a Chicago District Court indicting Tinubu of drug dealings and money laundering in 1993.
Though, Tinubu reportedly entered a plea bargain with the American authorities leading to the forfeiture of his assets.
According to the court documents, the APC presidential hopeful forfeited the sum of $460,000 dollars in his bank account at First Heritage Bank to the US government after he was indicted
Meanwhile, Omokri said what he has said about the drug dealings of Bola Tinubu will hurt his heart. He however, urged him not to watch the video because it will not be good for him.
“I was just at the Morning Show Set for an interview on AriseTV. I busted Festus Keyamo’s lies on the Bola Tinubu drug money saga. Please counsel Bola Tinubu not to watch. What I said will be very bad for his heart. Nigeria can’t have a KNOWN DRUG LORD as President!”
