1 min read

Former Minister of Aviation and spokesman of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign council, Mr Femi Kayode, has insulted the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Dr Yusuf Datti, describing him as Mauritanian refugee.

In the said twit, the unverified account bearing Datti’s name and picture shared results of the presidential election purportedly obtained from INEC Irev portal which claimed that Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party won 19 states including FCT while PDP won 8, APC 7 and NNPP 2 respectively.

However, Femi Kayode while responding to the twit called Datti monkey, adding that the former senator is trying to destabilise Nigeria and engender chaos.

He said, “If it is true that the Mauritanian refugee posted this then I call for his arrest for spreading fake news, lies & disinformation & attempting to incite the people.

“The monkey wants to destabilise our nation and engender chaos. He must be cautioned before things get out of hand.”
