DPA calls for urgent job application from social workers

The Due Process Advocates International (DPA), has urged Nigerians with Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in social work or first degree in psychology, sociology, social work and para legal studies to apply in the organization as a social worker.

This was confirmed in a statement by the human rights organization, which a copy was made available to Eculaw News.

According to Due Process Advocates, applicants within Abuja, Lagos and Rivers State can apply for the job.

It however said that, the essence of the social workers is to support operations of the organization as it strive to provide support for families in crisis and victims of violence and abuse.

The statement read, “To improve its work, DPA needs to hire experienced professionals in the field of social work.

“The social worker will play critical roles in supporting our operations as we strive to provide support for families in crisis and victims of violence and abuse. We need the social workers to be based in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, for a start.

“REQUIREMENT: A minimum of OND in social works, or first degree in sociology, psychology, social work, para legal studies. Strong communication skills, ability to prepare accurate reports, and readiness to testify in courts if necessary. You must have empathy and compassion for people facing difficulties.

“The position shall be a paid/salaried position and the pay will be good and competitive.
