Arise TV anchor, Rufai fined N70,000 for driving on BRT lane

Arise TV show anchor Rufai Oseni has been fined ₦70,000 for committing a traffic infraction in Lagos.
He was arrested on Monday for driving on BRT lane in Lagos, a development that set tongues wagging after he alleged police operatives pointed guns at him.
Lagos police command spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, however provided updates on the case on Tuesday.
Hundeyin said: “Mr Rufai Oseni was in court earlier today. He was found guilty of contravening Lagos State Transport Law (2018). He was subsequently fined Seventy Thousand Naira Only. He made the payment, after which his vehicle was released to him.”
