2023: Lawan, Kalu in Katsina to consult with political stakeholders

Senate president, Ahmed Lawan and Chief Whip of the Senate, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu today stormed Katsina state to meet with stakeholders over Lawan’s presidential bid.

A photo of the visit was shared by the former governor of Abia State on his official Facebook page.

Kalu declared support for the Senate president after his official withdrawal from the race.

The Abia born politician said he withdrew from the race after his party, All Progressive Congress failed to zone the presidential ticket to the Southeast.

However, while speaking on Channels TV, Kalu said he can still reactivate his ambition if the party should reconsider their decision and zone the presidential ticket to the Southeast.
