BREAKING: LP announces Doyin Okupe as Obi’s running mate but in placeholder

The Labour Party of Nigeria has announced Doyin Okupe as the running mate of Peter Obi but in a placeholder capacity in order to beat the Friday deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC).

However, this means that Okupe is temporarily standing in for the position as the party finalize the choice of Obi’s running mate
